Simply nothing too much trouble, really lovely stay. Units in the wardrobe for bottles of water. Climate control and a hair dryer were nice. Location - marvellous not far from Sandown sea front. Delicious food in the restaurants such as Wilkinsons Pies, located 5 min away.

The breakfasts were just about perfect -freshly cooked with excellent quality local ingredients. Good decor -recently refurbished. Owners friendly and helpful. Lots of little extras, such as a bottle of water, plenty of coffee etc. and snacks in the room and a fridge. It was a pleasure to stay there.
The en-suite bathroom was very small.

Easy to find, and to find the way home.
Room was on ground floor next to the front door. There was a window in the room without blind or curtain through which the porch light streamed all night. Room advertised as having a corner bath; this was unscreened, actually in the bedroom, not the tiny en-suite. Owners permitted guests to return at all hours, we were disturbed by noisy guests returning/arguing/swearing between 1.30 A.M. and 4.00 A.M. When complaining the following morning, we were told that the next night would be similar and if we were concerned we should better leave rather than stay a second night. All told, the worst we have ever experienced.

The location of the Westfield in Sandown is marvelous, being close to Sandown Beach, the Island, and Sandown seafront. the staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. - Overall, it was a really nice stay, and the venue met our standards.

I liked the Westfield very much - breakfast was excellent and Barry and his family were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I was travelling on my own and felt safe at the Westfield which was a big added bonus. I did not partake of any of the facilities there so cannot mark them properly but they all seemed very good. I would not have said this was a luxury or a romantic hotel but I did see the room with the four poster room which was beautiful so maybe it could be. If it took children it would be a lovely family friendly hotel also - but they do not.

Friendly staff, very helpful. Good breakfast
Room 5 is so small !!! And we were a little shocked at its size. We could not both get dressed in the bedroom together, one of us had to either sit on the bed or stay in the shower room. There is no window in the bedroom and the only light comes from having the shower room door open. Having no door on the room that has the sink in give the rest of the light needed for the main room. It was also a very noisy b and b having children running up and down the stairs, banging their room door shut about 15 times on our second night ( we did tell the owner at breakfast the next day ) while the parents sat in the bar. Think we would give it a miss next time

Our stay at The Westfield was great value for money, with a cozy and well-equipped room that was spotlessly clean. The location was fantastic, just a short walk away from the beach and great restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.
Food for breakfast could have been better with a wider variety of cereals and juice options, rather than just orange juice. However, this minor setback was easily outweighed by all the other positives of our stay at The Westfield.
